This is a collection of books that I have read and wanted to discuss. The reason why differs from book to book, not all necessarily because they are worthy of a read
How to Win Friends and Influence People
8/10
Such a classic book that I took an age to pick up.
So glad I finally did, it really helps you think about other people, and yourself, and how we should behave around one another.
The Checklist Manifesto
4/10
This is a great explanation of the benefits of a really easy tool.
The only problem is it's too long and should have been a blog post or TED talk.
The Lean Toolbox
7/10
This is the best starter book for understanding every word, tool or concept in Lean.
Covering philosophy to specific methods, this is great for people new to the ideas or as a reference to those who've been in the game a while.
The Magician
8/10
Most of those are non-fiction, but I'm making a special case for this.
Not only is it a great book, but it kicks off a great trilogy and another few sets of books to boot.
